The Team Behind the Corporate Star Awards


Three recognised event industry professionals have pooled their experience and expertise to develop and deliver the Corporate Star Awards:

 

Lisa Collins
Dovetail Creative Ltd

Lisa has been building powerful networks and communities for over 25 years, ensuring the groups she works with thrive and grow. After a flourishing career working for a variety of associations, membership bodies and not for profit organisations, Lisa launched her own agency, Dovetail Creative Ltd, in 2021 and now supports a variety of organisations with all aspects of community, member and customer forum engagement, events, marketing strategy, and consultancy.

Lisa has worked within the broadcast, media, and entertainment space for over 12 years, working most recently with membership organisation, IABM. Lisa is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry events and is on the board for RISE and Trade Association Forum. In addition, Lisa is involved in several mentoring programmes enabling her to pass on skills and knowledge to help others grow. Lisa has a passion for ESG initiatives and is co-founder of the Media Tech Sustainability Series and Corporate Star Awards.

Ben Gill

With almost 15 years event industry experience, Ben has been responsible for business development and client relationship management across some of the world’s leading trade shows, including IBC and NAB Show. A creative strategist, Ben has overseen the introduction and development of a number of events and attractions that reflect the changing requirements of industry professionals.

In addition to his roles in event development, Ben was also responsible for the successful launch of the Connected World.TV Awards @ IBC, working with renowned film director James Cameron in delivering the inaugural event. Alongside Neil Nixon, Ben launched and ran the Connected Media IP area of NAB Show for 10 years. Ben is currently co-owner and director of Red Lemon Events Ltd and co-founder of the Corporate Star Awards.

Barbara Lange

Barbara's achievements include executive leadership role at the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA), two prominent industry associations. Previous roles include business development and product management functions at the IEEE. Presently, she serves on the board and chairs a working group of the Greening of Streaming industry initiative and is engaged with Compton and Co. She is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), SMPTE, and the HPA.

Her distinguished leadership has earned her recognition from Washington & Jefferson College, the IEEE, and StudioDaily50. In 2020, Barbara was selected as TVNewscheck's Woman in Technology Award honoree. In 2021, TVB Europe designated her as a Technology Leader to Watch, while Broadcast & Cable honored her with its Tech Leadership Award.
Barbara holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and German, along with certificates from the Entrepreneurial Growth Lab of the Women’s Enterprise Development Center, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Management Program, and NYU School of Continuing Development. She holds both US and EU passports and is proficient in German.
